How can I get rid of honey bees in the stucco of my house?

There is a small opening between the roof and the stucco where the honey bees enter. The exterminator I called won't touch the bees. He said to call the bee experts but it could be costly.

Answer:
In Florida feral swarms of bees are partially africanized (partly killer bees, partly has a long explanation). They are aggressive and that is why pest control people do not want to handle them. Also, the bees build comb and store honey in their "nest". If they have been there very long, there can be alot of wax comb and honey inside of your wall. If you just remove the bees, this leaves a food source for other bugs, and pheromones the bees leave behind will attract other swarms of bees.
Bee keepers may or may not want the bees. They are working to keep the africanized bees out of their colonies, and the cost of removing a swarm of bees from a structure may not be worth the work required to get them.
The "costly" part of removing the bees is the carpentry work necessary to get at the nest to remove the comb, etc. .
If you are sure they have not been there long, caulk up the opening where the bees are entering/leaving. They may find another exit, so you may have to repeat the process.
Call your county agricultural extension service if you need more help. They have contacts with bee experts and bee removal people in your area.
