What is the difference between stucco and masonry?

What is the difference between stucco construction of a house and masonry construction of a house? Or does the two go hand in hand?

Answer:
Very simply put, Masonry is the material of building, IE: Bricks, Blocks, etc.
Stucco is the coating, no matter of what formulation, that is used to cover masonry. It can also be applied to wood framed houses as well as Block built.

Stucco is an inclusion in the construction of a house NOT the term used for the structure itself.
