Stucco is a building material, which is a mixture of cement, water and lime or sand. As we mentioned already, the history of the use of stucco goes back to ancient times. The buildings in ancient Greece were already built using stucco. The Italians spread the various techniques of the use of stucco in Europe after the Reneissance. The history and the centuries-long use and trust is a remarkable indicator that this material is reliable.

 

Stucco has many advantages and we have listed the features that have made stucco so popular and trustworthy.

- it is far less expensive than most other materials used in exterior walls. Wood, bricks, fieldstone and rubblestone look great, but cost a lot more.
